Striped Bass Fishing in Ocean Estuaries and Tidal Rivers

Depending upon which locations are presently productive and the clients' available schedule, we fish certain sections of the tide and time of day, specific to each spot. Various locations fish best by certain methods: some with fly fishing, and others with more conventional spin casting tackle and lures Occasionally both techniques can be productive on the same tide and location.

We will travel to where the best action is during your available time. We are most often wading and fishing from the shoreline. Let us know what tactics you are comfortable trying or are eager to learn. We look forward to giving instruction in all techniques, including to complete novices, and especially in fly fishing. We have all of the gear needed for client use, including fly rods, flies, lures, rods and waders for loan to fit most sizes.

Fish vary in size, quantity and activity level depending upon the location, weather conditions and time of day, and as bait (prey) conditions and migrations develop in the different parts of each season. We visit beautiful locations and enjoy teaching about and discussing all these factors as we observe them!
